Since coming to the Bar over twenty years ago John Larkins has practised widely in civil litigation and before tribunals. He has extensive experience in common law cases and in recent years the emphasis of his practice has been in the areas of liquor licensing, town planning, gaming and administrative law. He has appeared regularly before the Liquor Licensing Commission and more recently in the Planning and Occupational and Business Lists at VCAT. John appears before Panels at Liquor Licensing Victoria and in hearings at the Victorian Casino and Gaming Authority (now the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation) as well as the Supreme Court.
