While practising principally in all areas of common law at trial and appellate levels, Brian Collis also has considerable experience and practises in the areas of administrative law, criminal law, commercial law and insurance law. He is the author of "Tort and Punishment - Exemplary Damages: The Australian Experience" published in the 1996 edition of the Australian Law Journal and papers published in the Victorian Law Institute Journal on passive smoking and hearsay evidence. He is also an accredited mediator.
